UK antiques fairs: the big recurring events

Several large antiques fairs return every year or every few weeks. Here are the ones we have confirmed from the organisers, with where to check current dates.

Always check the organiser

Dates, hours and entry prices change. The details below were listed by the organisers when we checked in November 2026. Treat them as a guide, and confirm them on the organiser's site before you set off. Most large fairs are on showgrounds with plenty of parking, but buyers' hours and ticket types vary.

IACF fairs

The International Antiques and Collectors Fairs (IACF) organiser says it runs over 30 fairs a year. Its website lists these locations: Ardingly in West Sussex, Shepton Mallet in Somerset, Newark in Nottinghamshire (including Runway Monday), the Norfolk fair in East Anglia, Builth Wells in Powys, Mid Wales, and Newbury in Berkshire.

IACF says you can buy tickets to all its events online. It does not state ticket prices on that page, so look at the event listing. Our Newark page goes into more detail on the Nottinghamshire fairs.

Malvern Antiques and Collectors Fair

The Malvern Antiques and Collectors Fair takes place at the Three Counties Showground, Malvern, Worcestershire. A listing for the Sunday 1 November 2026 event showed hours of 8am to 3pm and a £5 admission, with the organiser given as B2Bevents. That event has now passed, and the listing itself warns that schedules can change, so check the promoter's website for the next date.

Sunbury Antiques Market at Kempton Park

This long-running market is held at Kempton Park Racecourse in Surrey. The racecourse's page says the market celebrates over 40 years of trading there, with a 6.30am to 2pm session on the date shown. It links to the market's own website for dates. Details on London markets are on our London antiques markets page.

Other fairs and markets

There are many smaller fairs, from village halls to hotel ballrooms. We have not listed them unless we have confirmed them with the organiser. A useful way to find more is through the venue's events page, a county tourism site or an antiques trade publication's fairs section.

Reading a fair listing

A fair listing usually tells you the venue, the dates, the opening hours, the price and the organiser. Note whether it says "trade" or "early entry", whether children or dogs are allowed, and what the car parking arrangements are. Where a listing is out of date, the organiser's contact details are your best route to an answer. Event aggregator sites can be useful but are not always updated, which is why we point you to organisers.

How to plan your day

For more detail on what to carry and how to negotiate, see buying tips for antiques fairs.

Weekday fairs

Several of the dates in the IACF list above fall on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, not weekends. That is worth knowing if you work Monday to Friday: you may need to book a day off. The organiser's page shows each event's entry times, so read it carefully, since an early ticket or a later one can change what is left to buy.
